Vinegar Rinse/Spray for Shiny Hair
Vinegar has been known for many uses, and not just for cooking. And one of its uses is for making hair shiny.Shiny hair is “shiny” because the shaft of the hair is closed or sealed, making the hair smooth. Vinegar actually seals the shaft so that is why it makes your hair really shiny. And, it also takes off product buildup on hair due to styling like hairspray, mousse, etc.
So, to make your own Vinegar rinse/spray, all you need is to dilute 1 part vinegar (Apple Cider Vinegar works best, but white vinegar works just as well) to 4 parts water. Then, use it to rinse out your shampoo/conditioner, let it sit for 5 mins, then you can choose to rinse it off of let it stay to dry.
Don’t worry about the funky smell, you won’t smell it as soon as your hair dries.
To help reduce the smell, you can add in a drop or two of essential oil. This will also help make your hair shiny.
You can also do a mixture for a spray bottle, and just spritz it after rinsing your hair after shampooing, works the same way.
Seriously, I have course and frizzy hair, especially where I live at is humid. And only after trying this, it made my hair manageable all day long! =D Try it, and tell me what you think.. =D
